Trekking in Khao Sok National Park

Trekking in Khao Sok National Park, the biggest natural park in Thailand

From the visitor center of Khao Sok National Park , located about two kilometers from our hotel, you can do two hiking through the jungle:

Route 4 km, begins to the right of the visitor center, has a steep slope and at the end you can see a small waterfall.

Route 7 km, starts at the left of the visitor center, most recommended because it is easier and follows the course of the river Sok. The first 4km to the route are through a path, it ends in an ideal place to swim in the river. Thereafter follows a trail that leads to about 3 km a stunning waterfall. On the tour you can see the dense vegetation of the jungle of Khao Sok: bamboo forests, centennial trees, lianas… and a diverse fauna, although it is not always easy to see, the most common thing you can see are monkeys, lizards, spiders, snakes, birds and fish.

If you want to make a half-day trek, you can go just for the first 4 km of the second route is all marked and can enjoy nature at your own pace. If you prefer one trek more intense we recommend a full day, we look for a local guide who will show you with more detailed flora and fauna of the park. We also prepare lunch so you can eat on the river bank in the middle of the day, so you can make a rest and relax bathing in the waters of the Sok River.
